Conflicts: Opossums can damage gardens and decks, as well as dig through garbage cans. They carry diseases, fleas, and ticks. Some of these diseases can kill house pets and horses.
Safety Concerns: Opossums carry and spread several different diseases.
Reproduction: Opossums can have up to 23 babies in one litter and they mature after 100 days.
